SA Court Releases Winners of the 2010-2011 Election
The Student Association Supreme Court reached an unanimous decision to throw out the “600” policy (elections policy), and place a permanent injunction on the Senate for fall elections. After the Senate approves language re-structuring the elections policy, elections can be held.
In the Wax Jacobs vs Wimpelberg petition, the court found in favor of the respondent, Wimpelberg.
In the Fioravanti vs Rotella petition, the court found in favor of the respondent, Rotella.
In the Bonilla/Rotella vs Wax Jacobs/ Fioravanti petition, the court was hung in a 3-3 tie, and which case the court affirms the lower court decision of commissioner Meagan Chen, finding Wax Jacobs as President and Rotella as Vice President.
